Frequently asked questions
Answers about quote requests, spare parts and working with AMES.
Does AMES sell parts off the shelf, or work by quote request only?
We're not a retail shop and don't run an online warehouse. Instead, we individually source the right part for your machine based on a quote request, photo, model or serial number. The exception is our SAV16-2/4-NE hydraulic valve, which we keep in stock.
What spare parts can I order through AMES?
We source spare parts for hooklift containers, skip containers, roll-off containers, press containers and stationary waste compactors — including container rollers, hinges, locks and doors. We also supply hydraulic cylinders, valves, hoses and power units, electric motors, and spare parts for agricultural machinery.
What information should I include in a quote request?
It helps to attach a photo of the worn or damaged part, the machine's model and serial number, and a short description of the issue. The more detail you provide, the faster and more accurately we can match a replacement.
Do you supply genuine OEM parts or equivalents as well?
We work with a network of trusted suppliers and, depending on availability, offer both genuine OEM parts and tested equivalent parts with comparable specifications.
Which markets do you serve?
We serve B2B customers across Poland, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, as well as the rest of the European Union.
Can someone visit our site to identify the right part?
Yes — if there's any doubt about the machine's model or condition, we can arrange an on-site visit to your facility to avoid ordering the wrong part.
Do you handle parts for agricultural machinery?
Yes, we specialize in spare parts and hydraulic components for agricultural machinery and equipment, including cylinders, valves and hydraulic hoses.
How long does a quote request take?
Turnaround depends on the specific part's availability from our suppliers — we typically respond within 1–2 business days with availability and pricing.
